Why Acupuncture and CranioSacral Therapy?
Acupuncture and CranioSacral Therapy treatments offer a supportive and complimentary therapy to Counseling and other mental/emotional health support services. Very often, mental/emotional health problems also express as physical symptoms and/or Qi (energetic) patterns within the meridian system of the body. By treating this aspect of the problem, Acupuncture and CranioSacral Therapy treatments can offer an excellent resource to support the shifting of old patterns of "dis-ease" into patterns of healing and wholeness.
Ear Acupuncture Program
The Ear Acupuncture Treatment Program offers 1 to 4 individualized Acupuncture and/or CranioSacral Therapy treatments a month plus 2 to 4 Ear Acupuncture treatments a week. New patients start with a 2-2.5 hour visit, which includes a thorough intake, detailed pulse evaluation, herbal prescription, and treatment. The first visit allows us to discuss any questions and develop an individualized treatment plan for your healthcare needs and treatment goals.
**The program is designed to support patients to reach healthcare goals and decisions they have made under the advisement and care of the appropriate medical specialist. This is particularly important for patients working to lower dosages of or discontinue the use of psychiatric and/or other pharmaceutical medications. The program is designed to support those patients who no longer need their medication, but are suffering from withdrawal side effects. The program is not designed to discourage the use of psychiatric and/or other pharmaceutical medications.
Acupuncture and CranioSacral Therapy Treatments
Acupuncture and/or CranioSacral Therapy treatments work to transform the underlying mental/emotional pattern into one of healing and wholeness while shifting the body toward holistic balance and healthy physiological functioning. These treatments are conducted in a contained and private setting, offering a safe environment in which you can relax into letting go of old patterns. Ear Acupuncture Treatments
Ear acupuncture treatments help with detoxification of various habit forming substances and work to shift the body's physiological cravings. These treatments also support the body to transition away from the stressful state experienced with PTSD and other effects associated with post-trauma and/or chronic exposure to stress. Ear acupuncture can also be used either in lieu of or in support of pharmaceuticals in the treatment of depression, anxiety, and other mental/behavioral health concerns. These treatments are performed in a lovely group setting. They are individualized and include the five needle protocol, also known as the NADA protocol. Patients can expect the treatment to last about 45 - 60 minutes. For ideal results, it is best to come for treatment a minimum of 3 times a week.

New Patients
New patients can start the program by scheduling a new patient evaluation and treatment. During the new patient visit, we will do a thorough intake and detailed Chinese medical evaluation in order to develop an individualized Ear Acupuncture Program package based on both your health needs and your time & scheduling needs. Below is our standard package to give you an idea of cost. You can opt to pay for the first 4 weeks of the Ear Acupuncture Program with your new patient visit or at your first ear acupuncture appointment.
Program packages
All packages include 1 private Acupuncture and/or CranioSacral Therapy treatment in the first week of the program and 2 ear acupuncture treatments a week for 4 weeks (8 treatments total).
Additional private Acupuncture and/or CranioSacral Therapy treatments/month are available
**Packages are paid in full at the beginning of treatment and can be started at any time. In an effort to support patients in committing to treatment, costs are nonrefundable. If any prepaid ear acupuncture or private treatments are not used within the month, patients have an additional 4 week grace period to come in and receive the treatments.
